A celebration of motherhood, hospitality, and legacy.
Created for Dulan’s on Crenshaw, Legacy of Lilies transformed Mother’s Day dining into an intimate celebration of motherhood, family, and legacy. A curated prix-fixe menu, live music, and thoughtful hospitality came together to create an experience that invited families to slow down, gather around the table, and celebrate the women who have shaped their lives.
The Brief
Dulan’s on Crenshaw sought to create a Mother’s Day experience that extended beyond a traditional restaurant service. The opportunity was to transform one of the restaurant’s busiest celebratory occasions into something more intentional, an experience that honored mothers while remaining rooted in the warmth, food, and hospitality guests associate with Dulan’s.
The Concept
BALDAIN developed Legacy of Lilies as an intimate dining experience centered on celebration and togetherness. A four-course prix-fixe menu provided the foundation for the evening, while live music and thoughtful guest touchpoints elevated the traditional Mother’s Day meal into an experience designed to feel warm, personal, and memorable.

The Experience
Guests arrived for an evening designed around celebrating the Matriarchs of their lives. Across four courses, live music from Up From Here accompanied the dining experience while families celebrated, connected, and created new memories together. The result was a Mother’s Day experience that felt both elevated and familiar. Guest were able to honor the occasion, while experiencing the warmth and soul of Dulan’s.
